"I have now had the privilege to participate and preach in two tours. The first time was a dream come true. The second was a fulfilment of a burning desire to return to Israel and preach the word of God one more time. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would be God's desire for my life, but I can't get enough now. To see God move in people's lives time and time again is worth every dime. This tour is not a "normal" site-seeing tour. Both guides have demonstrated a wealth of knowledge in history, and the word of God preached by each preacher from the passages where we are standing is often overwhelming, but in a good way. The application from each location leaves one with much contemplation, but you never leave the same. The saying is, "you will come away with one spot that changes your life forever." The phrase is accurate. Each tour brought a different outcome but always a life-changing experience. For my first tour, this was Caesarea Philippi, where I had the privilege to stand and preach Matt 16:18. From that day on, when trials come, I remember our Lord proclaiming in that very spot, "the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church." I will never sing about Calvary the same way again nor remember the Lord's table without this land and tour impacting my very being. I can't thank the LORD and Ross family enough for the opportunity to serve our great God and Saviour in this way. Having preached at over 30 sites, singing, and worshipping in over 50 locations now, I pray I can preach and sing in another 100. Can't wait for January 2024! This is not a site tour; it's a revival."
"Our trip to Israel this past September was both unforgettable and of great value to my wife and I. It was a blessing to be hosted by Brother Jay Ross and his family, Brother Jay did a wonderful job of choosing the sites and setting the itinerary for our two week tour. The price was reasonable and affordable and Brother Jay saw to it that both our food and lodging were first class along with our transportation. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Israel’s history, geography and culture as we learned daily about those aspects of every site we saw. This was my fourth trip and my wife’s second, we saw places that we’d never seen before on other traditional tours. Every site we visited included a message from the Word of God that gave Biblical significance to what we were looking at. There was a unity of heart and purpose that was prevalent among the believers we traveled with and we found that through this trip the Lord gave us new friends that remain connected to this day. I certainly would recommend Brother Jay Ross and the Bible Believers Tour to anyone who would be contemplating a journey to the land where Jesus walked, it is a life changing event! More importantly, the Christian fellowship shared throughout the trip made it special. We sang hymns, listened to preaching, and took part in some very sweet fellowship. We have kept in contact with several of our “new friends”, and we count everyone on the tour as one of the reasons that we enjoyed our time so much. There was a strong spiritual emphasis at every stop of the tour, and it all made the Bible truly come alive. My wife and I would not hesitate to take this tour again if circumstances allowed. We strongly recommend that any Christian seeking to tour the Holy Land take advantage of this wonderful tour."
"I did not want to go to Israel. And I did not want to go for one reason: I was extremely bitter towards God. Circumstances at the time were not what I had planned, and most definitely not what I had wanted. At the time, I was deeply battling depression and anxiety. And I blamed God. He could have prevented it, and He could easily fix it now, but He was choosing not to. I felt as though God had forsaken me. And if He had forsaken me, then I would forsake Him. So when my husband proposed traveling to Israel, spending two weeks doing nothing else but physically immersing ourselves in the Scriptures, there was nothing I could imagine wanting to do less. As I watched my husband’s excitement at this opportunity, however, I couldn’t bring myself to say “no.” One of my pet peeves is when people use the term “life-changing” to describe an experience, because if we’re honest with ourselves, very few (if any) experiences truly change a life. So when I say this trip was life-changing, I mean it. Having the opportunity to walk across Israel, to see firsthand the places where Jesus walked and taught and served, to look upon the place where He shed His blood for my sins, to stand within the tomb where Christ defeated sin and death, it was humbling! Not only that, but to have our tour guide share the historical, cultural, and archaeological significance of a place, followed by a brief message from God’s Word to offer the biblical significance, we left each site with a full understanding of where we had been. People ask me what my favorite part of the tour was, and every time I have the same answer: To see firsthand the intentionality of our Lord. As you stand in Israel and read God’s Word, you have the opportunity to actually see that nothing Jesus did during his ministry on earth was random. There was a rhyme and a reason for it all, and having the opportunity to physically see that helped me realize that even though my circumstances were not what I wanted, even though the trial I am walking through is really hard, my God does nothing by chance. I can trust Him to recycle this trial for my good and for His glory. And that changed my life. If you ever have the opportunity to travel to Israel, I would recommend touring with Jay Ross and Bible Believers Tours every time! Jay’s knowledge of the Holy Land and his desire to provide a Bible-based tour allows him to design the trip in a thoughtful and intentional way, ensuring God’s Word is the primary focus. After going on a Bible Believers Tour, I can honestly say I would not tour with any other organization. "
"My wife and I took part in the Bible Believer’s Tour this past September. We couldn’t have been happier with every aspect of the trip as we toured Israel and Jordan. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The bus was comfortable, and the hotels were very nice. We had attempted to go to Israel on our own, but we found that this tour included more places than we could possibly cover by touring by ourselves.
"I went on the Israel Bible Tour with Jay and it was the best tour ever! I loved how planned out it was and how we were able to utilize our time to the fullest. The sites we visited will always be pictured in my mind now when I read the Bible. It was an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is considering a trip to Israel. This also brought about the opportunity to work with Israel Softball and this year I am taking a group of softball players from the US to play there. I am excited for them to visit places they have read about in the Bible and for it to impact them the way it impacted me. I am so grateful that Jay has been willing to lead this tour and bless so many people."
" In September, my wife Rachael and I were able to go to Israel on a tour with Bro. Jay Ross. It was the trip of a lifetime for us. One that we never expected to take, and one that we will never forget. Seeing what I was able to see, and learning things I never learned in seminary has greatly enriched my preaching. It was a busy trip from beginning to end. There were many Biblical sights to see and Bro. Ross made every effort to take us to them all. We were on the road from early morning till nightfall every day. The focus of the trip was the places of Biblical events. There were hymns sung, and sermons preached from the Holy Bible at every place that we stopped. That made our tour unique from all the others. I did not see one other tour group that did this. Our group consisted of Pastors and their wives and laymen from Bible preaching churches, so this was appreciated and anticipated by our group. The unity in our group was special, probably because we all came from like minded churches who exalted the Word of God and the person of the Lord Jesus. Rachael and I made lifelong friends on this trip, some of which we still correspond with. The food on the trip was top notch. This is not the most important aspect, but one that seems like a high priority for Americans. If you are adventurous and like to try new and exotic flavors it will be right up your alley. If you are a dull cheeseburger, French fry, pizza guy, you can still find what you are looking for, you’ll just have to hunt a little harder. Jerusalem is a modern city with just about every restaurant you could imagine, so everybody can survive. This is a trip that every Pastor and his wife should take at least one time in his life if he is physically and financially able. It is a learning experience that is equivalent to a semester in Bible college. To churches, I would encourage you to save special funds and send your pastor to the Holy Land. It will benefit him and the church by what he brings back. "
"I have been on three separate trips with Brother Ross as my tour guide and I have to say it has been life-changing. My perception of everything has been improved, and my understanding of the Bible has deepened. Every verse I read jumps out at me in a new way, and I am now able to picture the settings in my mind. Every sermon I hear and preach is more valuable and meaningful. Brother Ross is a true professional and went above and beyond to make our tour a success. He is knowledgeable about the best places to visit and the things to avoid, and his expertise in the area made our experience truly unforgettable. I am grateful that our tour was led by someone with a strong belief in the Bible, and not by other denominations. The secular tour guide we had was incredibly knowledgeable about the word of God, history, archeology, and current events in Israel. We learned so much from him, and the experience was unparalleled. To top it all off, we stayed in fine hotels with amazing food prepared fresh and in abundance. This trip was truly a beautiful experience in a beautiful place, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to take it."
"Sept 2022 found us with Jay Ross on a wonderful 10 day tour in Isreal and Jordan. WOW! Our first time and it was way better than what we imagined it would be. Many people we know have gone to Isreal over the last 10 years so we thought we had an idea of how the trip would go. All we can say is that it was AMAZING and that we would go again with Jay in a heartbeat. Our Bible reading will never be the same."
"I have had the honor and privilege to be on these tours twice. I feel it is one of, if not “the” most unique tour ever offered of the Holy Land. The adventure and experience not only consist of the amazement of Jerusalem and Galilee but encompasses the entire nation of Israel and into Jordan. Obviously, the sights and experience of Israel is breathtaking, but for the faithful Bible believer this tour is especially Biblically educational as well as intensely spiritually fulfilling. Your 14 day adventure consist of on-sight preaching at over 40 sights. Something I have never seen offered from any other outlet or resource, and this unique addition provides not only a more detailed Biblical connection to each sight, but through the actual preaching of the Word of God, out of the Word of God, at the historical sight, standing on the actual ground in which is being preached about, provides a spiritual stirring of the heart unlike words could do justice in articulating. This unique approach to seeing the sights of the Holy Land in which our Saviour had walked also creates a comradery and unity between all those experiencing it. This specific approach culminates in building some lasting closeness and friendships that will last a lifetime. It is difficult to express the life changing experience and memory this historical and Biblically guided tour sears in both your heart and your mind. A tour guide provides the historical perspective as a designated preacher or teacher provides the Biblical perspective as well as a personal challenge along the way. A true fulfilling journey you will never forget."
"The experience can’t be properly put into words for me. It was a great trip; incredible sights, history and the people in my group were amazing. The trip is well thought out and wonderfully planned, 10/10 would recommend. "
"My trip to Israel was a tremendous blessing! Brother Ross was instrumental in planning the itinerary for myself and three other church members. Exploring places like Shiloh, Mount of Olives, Old Jerusalem, and Jezreel Valley made the Bible feel even more personal and impactful. The Holocaust Museum was an emotional experience that reminded us to be grateful for all of God's blessings. I strongly recommend that every Christian visit Israel and Brother Ross is an excellent guide to ensure a smooth journey." - Rob

"Visiting Israel was a lifelong dream come true. Seeing the places mentioned in the Bible has deepened my relationship with God and made it more personal. The scent of Israel is unforgettable, almost as if there's a giant air freshener in the air. Despite facing spiritual challenges during the trip, I was reminded of the importance of prayer and God's faithfulness. Brother Ross' guidance allowed us to experience more than we could have ever imagined and even showed us how to negotiate with merchants, saving us money. Israel holds a special place in my heart and the journey, with its ups and downs, has refined my faith and love for God. I will forever be grateful for this transformative experience." - Nico

"My tour of Israel was incredible, and I have Brother Ross to thank for it. Despite the limited time, we were able to see so much. The experience of visiting the places I've read about in the Bible has made it even more meaningful and real. I am grateful. God bless and thank you again." - Bruno
"My son and I got to join Jay on a tour of Israel in January of 2020. It was the most amazing two weeks and it was an experience we will never forget. The teachings throughout the day(s) came to life as we sat on Mt. Olivet/Mount of Olives, as we walked through Gethsemane and had quiet moments to pray, as we visited the EMPTY tomb, as we gazed upon Golgotha. We got to put our feet in the Dead Sea, gather rocks from the valley of Elah, stomp through Hezekiah’s Tunnel, ride camels in Jordan, and walk the slot canyons to see the Treasury in Petra. We enjoyed many meals and times of worship with our group and got to know like-minded believers from all over the country. Our tour guide, Dov, was incredibly knowledgeable…always taking time to answer our questions. We will never forget being invited into Rena’s home, and hearing about her life and how she survived the Holocaust. Jay organized everything beautifully, and the pastors’ teachings caused the Bible to truly come to life. It’s still hard to wrap our minds around the fact that we walked where Jesus walked, and that we stood at the gate where He will one day return. The trip was unlike anything else we have ever experienced and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to visit the Holy Land!"
"Visiting Israel had been an unfulfilled dream passed on to me by my mother. In 2017 or 2018, a church friend, Bill Day, took Jay Ross's Israel Tour, and inspired us on his adventure. On his recommendation and a little financial aid, my husband, I, our pastor and his wife went on the Dec. 27, 2019 to Jan. 9, 2020 tour. Each days destination had meaning and been carefully planned out. It opened us to a world of learning seeing history before our eyes, discovery, and sometimes wonder. We enjoyed multiple teachings each day. Hotel, most meals, and tickets to get into were prearranged priced so that we could enjoy everything as it came with little wait. Our two tour guides were excellent. They were so knowledgeable and entertaining. I began to see my bible in color then and now. I have 2 1/2 albums of pictures and post cards to remind me. 😊 The Eastern Gate peeking thru the trees in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the site at Shiloh where the Tabernacle use to stand were my favorite spots. My biggest surprise was Caiaphas's house, and that archeologists were still digging sites in Israel. We felt safe , and found the food healthy and good. We recommend and encourage other to take Jay Ross's Israel Tour."
"Life changing! Eye opening! Heart moving! I have told others that I now read and study my Bible in High Definition after this trip. I can’t imagine a better experience than this tour. Brother Jay knows the places to go and the places not to go. He seeks out the best hotels and transportation and guides. I have food allergies and back trouble from sleeping away from home and the amazing thing was I had no trouble with either of these during the time on the tour. I hope to one day be able to take my wife and son and daughter on this tour. Your faith will increase and your understanding of the Word of God will too! "
